Pricing
Flat monthly pricing, quoted from your books
Not from a sales script. We look at your actual books first, free, then quote a flat monthly price in writing. It does not change until your business does, and never without a conversation first.
Three service levels
| Level | What's in it | Best for |
|---|---|---|
|
The Books Accts 201 + 205 |
Monthly bookkeeping, every account reconciled, statements on a committed date, and a tax-ready year-end package delivered to your preparer. | Owners who run their own payroll and billing and just want the books right. |
|
Books + Payroll Accts 201 + 203 + 205 |
Everything in The Books, plus payroll coordinated through your provider, filings tracked, and every run booked correctly. | Businesses with a team, from two people to two shifts. |
|
Full Back Office Accts 201–206 |
The complete set: books, payroll, invoicing and bills, weekly cash summaries, and a monthly review call with a 13-week cash forecast. | Owners ready to hand off the whole financial back office. |
Catch-up and clean-up work (Acct 202) is always quoted as a separate flat project after the free review, so the past never inflates your monthly price. The quote comes with a written scope: what we will fix, by when, for exactly how much.
What moves the price
Every quote is built from the same four inputs. When we send yours, we show the inputs next to the number, so you can see exactly why it costs what it costs, and what would make it cheaper.
Nothing else moves the price. Not your revenue, not your industry, not how busy the season is.
| Input 1 | Monthly transaction volume across all accounts |
| Input 2 | Number of bank, credit card, and loan accounts to reconcile |
| Input 3 | Payroll headcount and pay frequency, if we coordinate payroll |
| Input 4 | Sales tax and filing obligations, by state |
| = | One flat monthly number, in writing, before you commit |
The fine print, in large print
Is there a contract or minimum term?
Engagements are month to month after the first close. If you leave, your books, your software file, and every statement we produced go with you the same week you ask. Clean handoffs are the founding idea of this firm; we are not going to hold your ledger hostage on the way out.
What does the diagnostic review cost?
Nothing. We review your books, tell you what shape they are in, and quote the work. If the honest answer is that you do not need us yet, that is the answer you get.
When could my price change?
Only when the inputs change: you add accounts, headcount grows, a second location opens. We flag it, explain it against the four inputs, and agree on the new number before it takes effect. No annual surprises.
Why isn't there a price list on this page?
Because a price list without your books behind it is a guess, and guesses get revised upward later. We would rather look first and commit to a number that holds. The look is free and the quote arrives within two business days of access.
